Sounds like a misunderstanding. She said "give the money to..." initially. That is a very poor choice of words when talking about tax cuts.

I'm not sure if the imprecise language is intentional or not, and I don't really care. It makes for a great gotcha moment, though.

Do you believe that the rich care about the poor and the middle class?

Well let's see the rich donate innumerable amount of money to charities, science development, and the third world so I'd say yes, they absolutely care.

Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and several others pledged to donate more than half their total wealth to charity and science research, I'd say that's tantamount to caring.

Misquotes and misinformation to fit the tired narrative that the rich hate the poor and middle class.

Instead of giving them more money (thru tax cuts) why not give it to the middle class (thru tax cut). When he said that's socialism she kept saying tax cuts are not socialism. Y'all been programmed to immediately defend the rich, even though you're poor and will never be rich. That's how you came to that conclusion even though i provided all context.

What I read, I didn't watch video, was her saying "corporations have trillions... why not give it directly to workers". To me, she is saying one of two things. Either raise taxes on corporation (to extract those trillions and redistribute them) or for corps to give a handout to workers. I don't understand how she's talking about a tax cut

She was speaking in context of the tax cuts. She said corporations have trillions & they're giving them more with the tax cuts. Why not give the money to the workers. She's talking about giving the workers tax cuts. That's why she immediately said tax cuts isn't socialism when he called it socialism.

But she never used the word tax once in her opening (I assume) statement. She mentioned trillions of dollars, and giving that money DIRECTLY to the middle class. This is the socialism that Mr Pettinger refers to when he says the transfer of wealth from one class to another. You handing me money is direct. You paying the next man more so I have to pay that man less is not direct.
