    Glad we had this discussion
They got tax breaks... that’s not even what she is talking about..

She is mad that corporations are getting a tax break, ignoring the fact that everyone is getting a tax break.

She is arguing that corporations have so much money that the government should take away a big chunk and give it to the leeches..

Employed productive people don’t need a lot from the federal government.. highways, defense, fda, sec, etc.. those are all fully funded so what does the government need more corporate money if not to give to the leeches

Nope. YOU added in the bolded part.

That's the bait-and-switch, and you're doing it too.

I was wondering if you were stupid or a liar. You confirmed you are a liar.

You didn't provide context, you put words in where they were not said.

Like I said, it's a simple bait-and-switch that us non-grubers saw through you and Tur's dishonest antics.

No, not once does she refer to using money to help people in poverty, homeless, unemployed etc or to other social services. Or to whoever else you keep calling 'leeches'. You are attacking an argument she is not making.

She refers only to the employees, the people who are working as part of the companies receiving large tax breaks as a part of this tax plan. She takes problem with the idea of providing a disproportionate tax break to those at the top compared with the remaining employees. She defends that position by pointing out that there is an expanding pay gap between those at the top of businesses and the remaining employees, which is a verifiable reality. Basically, if the people at the top are better off than they've ever been and the other employees are experiencing stagnating wages, why doesn't a bigger cut go to those employees instead?

I don't even necessarily agree with her position so much as I find yours to be baseless.

TLDR - she is not saying that you should just take money and give it to people who don't deserve it, which you keep on implying.

I think ultimately this is a misunderstanding between the two - it appears clear to me that she is referring to the tax breaks that are a part of the broader discussion, but I can see how he would not think that's what she was talking about.

You paying the next man more so I have to pay that man less is not direct.
          Exactly.

Once the Congressman said he opposed what she said, which was giving the money directly to the workers, the pulled the 'switch' and said she was talking about tax cuts despite her never using the words "tax cuts" until he first opposed what she said.

You and Tur may fool stupid D voters, but you can't fool non-superfans.

Watch what happens to Tur when she tried to pull her nonsense with Trump. She was tripping over her own words when Trump called her on her bs and lies:

                      Yep.

People need to wake the hell up.

Notice how entrenched our Dem and Repub posters are in their beliefs? They won't budge from their positions.

The enemy's strategy is diabolically brilliant and has worked to perfection.
