    Jose Ramirez, the pride of California's Central Valley, is ready for his world championship homecoming. Ramirez, from Avenal, Calif., will make the first defense of his World Boxing Council (WBC) super lightweight title against former amateur standout and longtime contender Danny O'Connor on Saturday, July 7 at the Save Mart Center. Ramirez vs. O'Connor will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET.

      Commence ass whooping. O'Connor took one of the heaviest KO's I've ever seen, about 40 seconds into the fight against feather fisted Gabe Bracero. This will NOT end well for him

                    Arum wanted no part of Prograis. Prograis will take a tune up and then enter the tournament and have the possibility of coming out the winner with two titles while Ramirez will take the Zurdo route and fight no hopers to keep his belt and then wanna call out the winner of the tournament.
