Russell jr doesn't have his heart in boxing anymore but he's so talented that it will take a special fighter or him on his off day to expose that in a fight!

I think he beats up Diaz despite the inactivity, too much firepower, too much speed, too much finesse and better levels!

Gary is a perfect case study 4 wasted talent Gary was mismanaged and truly forgotten by his handlers I feel bad 4 the fighters that signed with AL HAYMON cuz 95% of AL stable are left out of their limelight completely

The way Gary talks about boxing makes you think he doesn't even like boxing. I think he sees it as a means to an end, of where he can make enough money to comfortably live out the rest of his life. If you find some of his old interviews he has this plan to retire from boxing at 30 and invest his money in properties and stuff. Gary's like the carpenter with a good set of tools except the carpenter doesn't want to be a carpenter.

Wrong!!! Stop being a hater and get to the know the facts. The facts are Gary interest in boxing has diminished greatly-- he's even talked about retirement a few times. He's made good investment outside of boxing and does not feel the need to keep fighting. He said all this himself. The only reason he can afford to fight only once a year is because of AL and the good paydays he gets his fighters.
