Anyone here repulsed by the taste of turkey?

i only like the skin. weird but yeah... the meat is too dried for my taste.

I used to dislike turkey, but I like it now.

Chicken is better though.

Yup i hear ya. I only like white meat. Brown meat is good too. I dont trust the dark thug meat though so ill pass on that

Ate it once, and probably will never eat it again.

My family and friends brought Turkey just last year to celebrate Christmas. And I was excited that I was going to eat my first turkey and expected for it to taste like chicken or probably better.

But when I taste it, the taste was just repulsive. Like it was hard for me to not ignore the taste or think of the taste to be good since it's just foul as hell.

The food it self was not foul smelling, it was quite good actually but the taste was just FOUL.

The dark meat actually prefer the collard greens i hear. But they steal nonetheless

Have to cook it right

It could taste really bad due to a slight mistake it cooking

And also the gravy has to be done right aswell

Mah wife cooked turkey on a family party one time and that turkey was gone b4 the chicken
