Default Did Pacquiao and Canelo Take RISKIER fights than Floyd?

I'd say Pac's most difficult fight was Cotto, regardless of the catchweight.

Canelo took on Lara, Jacobs, and Kovalev.

Why did Haymon advise Floyd to take soft fights and impose catchweights? Floyd even ditched his agreement with Marquez, the Lightweight.

nope

undefeated Corrales at 130...should be a hall of famer may get in...corrales went on to win titles

Castillo....who was primed, a p4p entrant much of the 2000s and was the champ before and after floyd beat him

DLH at 154 was dangerous for a smaller fighter and definitely a bigger risk than most canelo opponents maybe not GGG or kovalev

Undefeated Hatton, lineal at 140 won wba at 147 and could be a HOFer one day

Mayweathers career didnt start in 2009...

and fights will seem riskier by others if you are considered the favorite or are completely dominant like floyd was

floyd didnt need wars to beat the best or shady judges to win big fights, he dominated all but maybe 2-3 of 50 fights

So Pacquiao and Canelo are soft fights. If that's your argument that they're superior, it's a bad one.

I think it's time to either delete or close this thread because the debate is over. The TS argument has just gotten obliterated by the therealpugilist

Wow. I'm surprised with the knowledge in this thread..

Corrales was same class as Floyd.

Pacquiao was never a natural size as Cotto. The context, hints, is the level of difficulty moving up. Like I said, at 29, Floyd fought Baldomir, Judah and DLH. Canelo didn't ask Kovalev to meet at 164 or 168. DLH had already gone to Middleweight..

Floyd ditched the Marquez fight... you guys need to keep it 100 and site the details. Why didn't Floyd fight Canelo or Cotto at 154 or 155 for the Lineal Middleweight? If it was so easy. 1lb? LOL
