Somebody better tell Muhammed Ali. His fight against Doug Jones wasn't good.
Or the time he was knocked down by Henry Cooper, who was probably ahead on the scorecards at the time.

Also when the fúck do you suppose he could have started his professional career? Newsflash idiot, he had to literally move across the world to become professional. You know that Germany is not next to Kazakhstan right? You do know that they don't even speak the same language?
You know that there wasn't a professional scene in Kazakhstan, right?

I never said ggg couldn't turn pro, I said he wasn't ready for the elites. You can literally see a difference of ggg before and after Sanchez.
Ali had Dundee from the beginning, ggg didn't hire Sanchez until 2010.
ggg's 350+ amateur fights, being a 30 year old man, could barely get him by a guy not even ranked in the top 15 of his division.

Could a boxer becoming a pro at age 36 be in his prime at age 46?

Up until that point, for his whole pro career, ggg was just floating around gyms without any real guidance. He became a completely different fighter in the years to come.
You keep trying to compare ggg to completely different situations, everyone's is unique some athletes do peak at later ages and ggg is one of them. He wasn't like an Ali or Tyson that both had trainers from the get go.
Hopkins himself brought in different trainers throughout his career to learn from. Even a guy like Maidana became a different fighter after all the wars he'd been in when he hired Garcia.
Trainers improving and transforming fighters at any age is more common that you think. As are fighters in their "prime years" struggling to sub par competition which I provided many examples of.
Even a 27 year old Mayweather got put on queer street by Corley, Demarcus Corley! Do you even remember him? You think he's as good or as dangerous a puncher as Pac, Cotto, Alvarez, Maidana? How could he do what they couldn't? Fighters get better with experience period and ggg lacked that.
The prime physical age for humans doesn't change.
I'm sure LeBron James is smarter today than he was 10 years ago, but he's not the athlete that he was 10 years ago.
And bringing up guys getting challenged in their 20s is supposed to mean what?
YOu make the mistake of assuming that guys are going to blow away everybody that they're better than.
Lomachenko didn't blow away Salido even though he was a way better fighter. Sometimes styles make fights.
Do we know that a in his prime Demetrious Corley wouldn't have made 36 year old Mayweather struggle?
No, we don't.
Maybe his style was just a bad style for Mayweather.
Maybe fighting a past his prime Mayweather would've resulted in an upset or an even tougher fight
Maidana was never in Mayweather's class, but he gave May fits because his style was a bad style for Mayweather.
