Ok so smaller gloves and less rounds.

    3 instead of 4

    5 instead of 6

    7 instead of 8

    Etc.

Make the number odd so we get less draws and more chance for clear winners.

I've been here longer than you boy. I want boxing to be fun again. I want the crowds of the 80s and 90s talking about boxers being the baddest men on the planet. What I don't want is a generation of huggers and dancers killing the sport by turning off fans through sleep inducing boredom.
This is a post from Sir Didymus in this thread, read it carefully:

As opposed to what exactly? Having a man's sweaty balls on your face? Having your opponents anus hovering over your nose? Watching an opponent or yourself defecating all over the ring?

Well said Mr. Didymus. This is what I think about the UFC.

This is not a VIDEO GAME these are Humans fighting each other not some video game character you're controlling who feel no pain and you can control to just throw punches wildly without getting tired. Believe it or not the Commissions, Promoters, they do care about a fighters HEALTH! Nobody is going to make new rules to please YOU at the risk of fighters suffering serious life threatening injuries!

Do This since you and a few others particularly on this forum think boxing is so easy and that you can adjust rules and expect fighters to not be effected by it. Why don't YOU go to your local Boxing Gym and YOU try to fight 15 Rounds in Smaller Gloves and fight Toe to Toe with no Defense or Movement since fans like to complain about fighters who choose to fight smart and be responsible Defensively!

Then comeback and talk again about how "Boxing Need To Change Rules TO Be More Fun"

That idea is too groundbreaking dag.

Seems like a lot of fans like boring fights just so they can complain about them later.

If one rule has to change it has to be the even numbered round fights. We need judges to have no chance to fuck up a fight with a draw.

when did he say no defense or movement??? also clinching and bending over arent even legal but im sure you consider that "defense" just have the guys fight fair? is that so hard to ask? you got fanboys constantly defending cheaters under the guise of safety. if they cant do it without braeking the rules find another profession. guys like ward clinched from the amateurs to the pros and made a mockery of the sport but im so glad hes safe because i would rather he be safe than have a fair sporting event am i right?

also smaller gloves might actually save lives since bigger gloves equal more punishment can be taken. i dont think we have enough info to say what is safer in that area but people still die in boxing all the time so it obviously hasnt worked out too well. people rarely get one hit ko'd and killed although it has happened but what does happen is people take lots of punishment from big gloves and die/get disabled as the fight goes or afte the fight.

judges will always find a way to f-uck it up. you know them. just look at ward-kovalev round 10. more roudns just gives them more outs to favor who they want. they really should be scoring more even rounds because you know they give any round that isnt 100 percent clear to the guy they want to win. thats how you get crazy cards where one guy dominates 5 roudns and the other guy doesnt clearly win a single round but hes still teh "winner" when in reality it should have been 5 rounds to zero with 7 even. this scoring system also encourages actually doing something and not just sitting back while knowing you will get every single close roudn therefore its an incentive to keep the action light and do very little.

Whats the evidence smaller gloves cause more deaths? Few guys ever die in MMA (& usually its cuz of weight cutting bs cuz those guys are on another level with that with many of those guys coming from wrestling where weight cutting is a lifestyle) & there are as many MMA fights if not more at this point in the US.

I think the brain is a huge p#ssy in comparison to most other parts of our bodies. So it don't matter if you are getting hit with smaller or bigger gloves. You are doing damage either way. So at that point you are doing yourself a favor in a combat sport by getting hit less with a smaller glove vs more with a bigger glove. Neither glove is protecting the brain. The gloves are protecting the fist.

Educate fans on what is actually happening in the ring so that they are more entertained when there arent a million punches being landed each round. Fans of other sports are constantly being walked through what is going on tactically and technically, and they end uo with a deeper appreciation for the sport because if it.

Rockyesque fights hardly ever happen, especially between top level boxers. How many of us have had casuals say they are 'bored' watching a perfectly good fight because they just have no clue what is going on? Ive had it plenty of times
