So when fighting a southpaw it is common knowledge that having your lead foot to the left of your opponents lead foot gives to a definite advantage.
But when fighting an orthordox opponent are there advantageous positions to place your feet in accordance to your opponent?

Eg. When throwing the left hook, what is the best position to have your feet placed in accordance to the positioning of your orthorodox standing opponent.

Ditto for all other punches.

eg. like when throwing a jab are there advantages to placing your foot when stepping nearer your opponents front foot or closer to their rear foot?

or jab stright shuffle hook (miss or land the hook, your opponent is squared up..allowing you to throw a stright right down the pipe) then sraight right

Ideally, you want to use whatever footwork will zone your opponent or crowd him. No back and forth stuff.

You are right about zoning, but "Back and forth stuff" is part of boxing.
