Monzon ranks higher on every list I've seen but I think Hagler was the better fighter.

My money's on The Marvelous Marvin Hagler.

Carlos Monzon is one of my favorite fighters ever,but i have to give the nod to Hagler.

I think Monzon's height and reach would give Marvin trouble in the early rounds,and i think this would be a trilling and exciting fight all the way.I believe Monzon could "shake up" Hagler,but not really hurt him bad.Monzon winning the early rounds and Hagler coming on in the middle rounds.I don't see Carlos going down without a fight,and the late rounds would go back and forth with exciting action.

I see Hagler winning a close and maybe split decision.

It would be a very close fight, going the distance.

They were both great. Hagler would know his best chance would be to close the distance and not let Monzon fight at distance where he has the size and reach advantage.it would be a close fight,I would put my money on Hagler.
