You're absolutely right. They get hardons for American politics but when their arguments can't stand on merit then they hide behind their European definitions of left and right. Its like somebody saying ( Euro) Mayweather whips Paul Williams and if you disagree youre stupid. ( American ) Well Mayweather doesnt seem to have the stopping power or southpaw advantage to beat a tall, rangy fighter with 100 punch output per round. ( Euro ) You don't know ish about boxing! I'm done with yo azz!

Sandoval's reelection party and most people there were speaking of letting gays marry and at the very least lowering marijuana from a schedule 1 narcotic. The party was filled with people of every race and equal parts men and women. Democrats are going to have to give up the "your all racists" argument and start running on merit. Obama is a lousy President. Clinton was a great President and the last good one we had in my opinion.
fringe left? are you serious with that post manny?

obama has been an utter freaking disappoint for the left. this guy has more in common with george w bush than saul alinsky.

he has continued basically all of bush's actions in drone strikes, executive orders, not closing guantanamo, and all of bush domestic spying policies.

obama presidency feels more center right than far left. lol at running on merit.

what the hell has the republicans done? just look at freaking congress. its the worst congressional body in the history of the american republic. now the americans just voted for the same republican party to control the senate that destroyed all of as you called the last great american president's work in bill clinton. this country had a surplus and had no wars when clinton left office.

      LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL at running on merit.

Social agenda is extremely left. One of the creators of common recently said it was developed to end white privilege. Eric Holder for all intents, wants revenge on whitey. You are right on his foreign policy being Bush's. Domestically he his extremely left. Internationally, he is a neocon, feeding the MIC.

Yes merit. Harry Reid is the worst Majority leader in recent history. He stopped a bipartisan bill to end patent trolling. He stopped A bipartisan bill coauthored by Rand Paul to give felons the right to vote back and access to financial aid for school. Their have been good bipartisan bills passed that collect dust on his desk.

On this you are right. I hope they get something done. If not we get Hilary and the same foreign policy and same social policies. The only good thing Hilary might do is better management of the economy. I hope Rand Paul takes office in 16. They should pass the anti patent troll bill and the bipartisan voter right and financial aid to reformed felons bill.

8 disastrous years of Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader. You'd have to be insane to give him a second more. This is the 3rd Republican House in a row. People are tired of House bills collecting dust in the Senate, with Reid refusing to even allow debate on most of them.

We'll see. I don't have much faith in either McConnell or Boehner. Republicans spent most of their money this time around defeating the more conservative candidates in their primaries. They even got 10s of thousands of black Democrats to vote for Republican Thad Cochran in Mississippi.

Obama has completely ignored the House for 4 straight years. Let's see him ignore the entire legislative branch.

Not out of the realm of possibility. He may try to ignore them. It's up to congress to give him bipartisan bills to make him look like a tyrant if he does ignore them.

Bill Clinton started his presidency pushing Hillarycare and gun control. After 2 years he lost the House and Senate and spent the next 6 years learning to work together with the opposition party. Tailed off a bit there at the end, but for the most part a very successful presidency.

Obama started of pushing Obamacare and a huge Stimulus. After 2 years he lost the House and seats in the Senate. Spent the next 4 years ignoring the House. Now he's lost the Senate. Disastrous presidency so far. Here's hoping he can take a page out of Clinton's book and turn things around his last 2 years.
