It was really a bad game plan and a bad idea all together, Nacho has been successful with fighters he built from the ground up, motivated young fighters that are were willing to learn and improve, not a 31 year Chavez jr who was history of not giving a damn about boxing.
The stuff this man teaches needs years and years of practice and dedication to understand and then a bunch of other years to master, this guy teaches you boxing the right way and Chavez just had too many flaws and bad habits that Nacho tried to fix but the game plan of trying to box Canelo was all wrong, but what do we know, maybe Chavez was doing really good fighting on the outside in training camp but under the lights he froze up after getting tagged early with 10 oz gloves, maybe it was just a general lack of heart and desire that caused the problem, maybe they had a terrible camp maybe the fight was fixed? we'll never know, main thing is that I won't ever watch this guy fight again.
