It's all context. We've got a few different undefeated fighters out there with 100% win ratios but you wouldn't rate Brook as being more valuable than Pac just because Brook has a higher win ratio. Brook has 1 good win. Pac has more than a dozen.
As I say, it's all context.

Win percentage is meaningless in boxing or nearly meaningless cuz of all the manufactured records in boxing.
I am a fan of Boxrec's point system to find "quality opponents". It doesn't quite transfer to the lil guy weight divisions like it does in the bigger divisions, but more or less I consider any fight vs a guy with 100pts or more a quality opponent. Its usually a telling stat to look at the 100+ point opponent record to see who's a serious champion or contender & how serious they are. The points are also solid at showing which prospects are being moved correctly & taking steps up.
And this isn't to say I consider the points law or anything, but I like a easy means at which to measure fighters that isn't as emotional or time consuming as my or anyone elses opinion about the 20,000 active boxers at any given time.

Honestly, it it is the quickest way to get a fighter and should be something that more people use in boxing because it is great resource for any jumping off point with a fighter.
