  • You can see why Wlad smashed Wilder up in Sparring

Fury's movement, elusiveness and jab did for Wilder...Now Wlad is not as elusive as Fury but he is very defensively sound and he does have serious punch power in each hand. Can see why Wilder's team were happy to wait him out

I think his saving grace against Fury is that he isn't a puncher which keeps the fight on a knife edge

Wilder was very raw, young and inexperienced. You learn a lot from those sort of spar, just like he did with David Haye he was rocked but Haye maintained Wilder is the hardest single puncher he ever sparred.

The OP may have a point.

But, what is also true is that when it came time to face Wilder or AJ, Wlad chose AJ as the easier task.

Klitschko is the absolute worst match up for Wilder. A bigger guy with a elite power jab who's main punch is the jab and Wilder cannot defend jabs. Klitschko was the first fighter team Wilder said on record he is not ready for and there's a reason why beyond the sparring sessions.

Team Windmill couldn’t dictate the zero PED policy to Team Klitschko
So they didn’t have no advantage whatsoever

Joshua is a Wlad copy with an uppercut
