Watching that fight live, I thought for sure the fix was in. How does a person who has been grappling that long not put the hand behind the head?

It was a train wreck that everyone thought it would...

Ken had his shot, but kimbo' huge neck, and ken's old arms wouldn't allow the choke to happen..
And then ken got punched in the face and stopped...
Everyone knew it would just take one kimbo bomb to end shamrock, and that's what happened..

Whats the typical time frame of a guy admitting he was in a fixed fight? I'd assume its when he's broke enough several years later at the earliest typically. I'm gonna wait a while on this one.

Definitely a sketchy ass looking fight. I don't think Bellator would risk the bad PR, but I could for sure see Shamrock & Kimbo getting together on this. Can't imagine the upside here for Shamrock to take the fall outside of just being old as f#ck & less likely to make a move off of a Kimbo W, but who knows how desperate guys are for some extra money.

Fixed or not, the fight sucked and should have never happened. Shamrock should have retired like 15 years ago. He's old, and his arms are weak and brittle, never mind choking Kimbo. Shamrock can't even choke his chicken these days.

an air choke needs strength and time because it's not technical.

a blood choke is quick, that's why ppl tap the moment it sinks in.

yeah arm strength or i should say arm endurance plays a huge roll... Ken applied pressure and gassed out his arms, let the choke go, and got knocked out.. pretty simple to see..
