Boxingscene is a microcosm of the racial division in this country. I've been on Boxingscene for almost 14 years (wow, time flies) and there's always been racism on all sides of the spectrum.

I think most people are good willed and are not racist, but it's the racists and bigots who draw the most attention.

You think boxing scene is bad? I used to post on forums that were polar extremes. Either they weren't moderated at all and everyone was at each other's throats constantly, or they were over moderated and you weren't allowed to talk about race, politics or religion period. You get banned for the slightest infraction, even using profanity. I think boxing scene splits the difference. In my year here I have seen those who have a pattern of racialist behavior get banned, and some continue to fly under the radar and get away with it.

But, we have choices, and if a poster annoys you to the point where you are routinely offended, you can either put them on ignore or report them.

It can be stopped by everyone acknowledging that I am their supreme overlord and that they are all worthless trash compared to me and so shouldn't argue with each other of petty differences.

Racism & dicks have been the top two non-boxing subjects for quite some time. And racism crosses over to the boxing side of the site like dicks never could. So many questionable mfers here with their love of all one race of fighters that seem to hate on some other race of fighters a lil too much no matter the topic angle.

Idk that you can stop people feeling how they feel. All you can do is ban them for longer & longer periods of time as far as this site. And idk that you can ever really even ban those questionable mfers cuz you can't really prove they are racist & they certainly aren't being legit racist. They just happen to really love the Charlo brothers & think Loma ain't sh^t or think GGG is the sh^t & Floyd is garbage or some other irrational opinion about two+ great fighters that should both get some minimal level of appreciation by every real boxing fan.
