He'll be fine as long as he's not checkin out the ceiling instead of his opponent! You should be looking almost throught your eyebrows, it helps if you get hit in the forehead because youre head wont fly back and give you nasty whiplash. Also this head posture makes it more likely for the stronger upper part of your nose to be hit instead of the softer cartilage. And I seriously doubt it's even possible to lose your adams apple unless someone takes it out surgically
