If it's one on Showtime, and one on HBO, this just might work! If they both have to be on HBO, fight doesn't happen!

It seems weird to be arranging two fights back to back. I get the rush for a rematch if there's been a dodgy decision, say Holyfield v Lewis. But to schedule in advance two fights is bizarre. What if the first is awful? What if it's a mismatch or a stylistic nightmare? Has it been done before?

Exactly! You hit the nail on the head.

Dont work like that. The US Fight is the one i'm sure is going to come down to a Heavy Bidding War as Joshua's Contract with Showtime is up after Parker.Whoever gets Joshua, will get Joshua-Wilder as Hearn/Joshua will dictate when/where it takes place, splits,Broadcasters etc Wilder and his Team are quite weak in these negotiations.

Wilder is not going to HBO, unless Showtime gets something in return! If Showtime doesn't get something, the fight won't happen! If Joshua wants Wilder, he won't go to HBO! If he goes to HBO, then he doesn't want Wilder!

The closer the fight comes to actually happening, the more sensible everyone gets

Wilder and Joshua are both fighting in March; now, it's coming down to getting the bag right for everyone involved.

The Miller fight isn't going to happen, in September anyway; the IBF have already had their mandatory defense, and Povetkin is owed the Joshua-Parker winner if he beats David Price. I sincerely doubt that WoB steps aside to give Miller the shot at the WBA/IBF/WBO champion.

Still, Hearn has now made it clear that he's ready to bring the AJ show to the US, for a spoken date that's set for early fall/late summer, against a fighter who's basically a fringe challenger at this point; now it's up to the US venues to put up the money.

MGM Resorts puts up $15m to host Wilder-Joshua, and then things get moving. Hearn/Haymon then sit down, lock in a two-fight deal (T-Mobile Arena for August/September, Principality Stadium or Wembley for February/March).

Wilder does not have a actual contract with Showtime in the way Joshua does.Joshua and Hearn will dictate things,if Joshua says come over to HBO and you get these figures...$$$$$ you think he's going to let Showtime stop him ? It's Simple whoever gets AJ locked to a contract will get the Wilder fight

Hearn “willing” to do? Well geez, Hearn got that rematch clause set anyways. Rather practical statements knowing your boxer is going to get KO’d. I guess Hearn wants to see that twice!

At present, both Wilder and Joshua fight on Showtime. At present, there are no obstacles to Wilder and Joshua besides Ortiz and Parker. If both Wilder and Joshua win their fights, the Wilder vs. Joshua fight should be next! If AJ signs a contract with HBO, he just created an obstacle that does not exist today! I'll leave it there for now.
