GGG has his mission of defining 160 as his, but there remains the possibility to move up.
Alvarez has the $$$ but has to go through 160.

just ****ing accept that offer...there's really not much difference between $10 million and 40%. if they think this fight will generate so much revenue that 40% would be much more than $10 million they're stupid.

unless that $10 million includes ggg's purse and his promoter's share (which would mean gbp has the sole responsibility to promote the fight) tom loeffler's counter offer is understandable.

If I was Oscar I would force an immediate rematch if Canelo loses and put in the contract that the rematch purse would also be 10 mil.

And most likely, Oscar doesn't want to split gate and PPV with Loeffler either.
The purse could be 70-30 and GGG would get 15 mil, Canelo 35 mil. Very possible. So the flat fee is like taking 80-20.
