Both these guys need each other.
GGG has his mission of defining 160 as his, but there remains the possibility to move up.
Alvarez has the $$$ but has to go through 160.
The A-side matter isn't nearly as clear as GB's press release would like to make out it is. They got the money but can't walk away from GGG without a cloud hanging over Alvarez' record.
There are months over which they can negotiate, neither side will, nor should the give or take first offers.

Should be 70/30 to the winner if canelo is so confident he wins. Is ridiculous otherwise, why should the loser be getting paid more than the winner? Ggg is 1/4 heavy favourite for a reason

It's ridiculous for Loeffler to compare this fight to Floyd vs Manny because GayLoveKin is neither, he's not 1/100th the draw that either of them are. 60/40? Talk about pricing yourself out of a fight! Utter bull****, GayLoveKin wants star money and his resume ****ING SUCKS!!! Don't even attempt to bring the brook numbers into this considering that the whole arena and majority of ppv buys there were for brook, no one gives a **** about the caveman boy rapist lookalike
You already made it clear you care about him. He's in your mouth on a regular.

Also..the real cavemen actually had brown skin. Haha

canelo is still getting the better end of the deal, so what's wrong with that???? why are the canelo fans acting like team ggg wants a 50/50 split? sounds like excuses to me for them to keep talking about the $10mil flat fee because they know team ggg will not accept that. 60/40, get it done!

Because he's the one with the ****ty resume, he's the one who has yet to fight an elite, or have a career defining win at all for that matter. Is it that hard for you to understand?

No shit Khan is popular in America seeing that he fought Judah, Garcia and Barrerra etc. He's been fighting in America for longer than Brook has so the name is known.

unless that $10 million includes ggg's purse and his promoter's share (which would mean gbp has the sole responsibility to promote the fight) tom loeffler's counter offer is understandable.
If I was Oscar I would force an immediate rematch if Canelo loses and put in the contract that the rematch purse would also be 10 mil.

And most likely, Oscar doesn't want to split gate and PPV with Loeffler either.
The purse could be 70-30 and GGG would get 15 mil, Canelo 35 mil. Very possible. So the flat fee is like taking 80-20.

GBP needs to call GGG's bluff, and make a fair 60-40 offer! GGG said they would lowball him to try to duck the fight, and they have so far! Call his bluff, make a real offer, 60-40!
GGG would take 70-30 for sure, Tom wants money but he's not bold enough to walk away.

What if Canelo doesn't want a rematch? Then they gotta play this game over again. That flat amount is like

RIGHT! I heard GGG is going to vacate the belts just like Canelo so he could be more of an A-side.

"And from Gomez’s standpoint, Golovkin (36-0, 33 knockouts) is the one dragging his heels. Last month Golovkin said he was expecting a low-ball “$2 million” offer from Alvarez that would allow Mexico’s most popular fighter to continue skirting the sport’s most anticipated fight.

“Golovkin said he takes great pride in boxing, that it’s not about money, that he’s willing to fight. He said we’d make a weak offer,” Gomez said. “We have all these deal points on the table and we’re not getting an answer.

GGG first said they would low ball him with a 2m offer. Instead they multiplied that by 5. He made only 2mil in the only fight he's ever had on HBO PPV. GGG first held the fight up over weight refusing to go down even though he said for years he would go to 154 or 168. Now he says no 2mil low ball offer and they offer him 5X that and by far the biggest career payday of his career. There is a reason why GGG hasn't had any relevant fights and it's because he's got idiots managing his career. Will turn down all that money to keep fight bums like Wade. Remember a few months back when GGG said he's not a businessman? LMAO
