No surprise here, remember Jacobs said that he didn't want the fight for another 18 months anyway. He wanted to milk his "regular" title for as long as he could. I can't recall the last time a fighter had 4 belts (WBA, IBF, IBO, WBC) and no one wanted to challenge him !! GGG has his haters, but hell even they'll have to admit that for Martinez,Cotto, Canelo, Saunders, Eubank, Froch, and now Jacobs to say "no" or "not right now" to a match against Golovkin means alot. People can no longer knock his resume' because it makes GGG look even better when you look at the list of fighters that have side-stepped him. Everyone's afraid they'll get wrecked !!

They didn't offer 25%. That's the wba mandated split if it goes to purse bids, dip****. They're even willing to lose this Dec date cause this unready challenger needs 10-12 weeks lol

They wouldnt have had to go to a purse bid if they were fair in the first place with their offer, they knew what the WBA would do so they let it go to that offer, dip****...

How the fcuk would you know, ******? This is what the challenger was saying 6 weeks ago:

‘Wait a second. I could fight two Peter Quillins and make the same thing'

And his trainer just said no chance it happens Dec 10, he needs 10-12 weeks to prep for this mando challenge. Can you work this out?

Tell us how Danny Jacobs deserves $5mil.
Jacobs isn't a champion. This isn't a unification fight. Jacobs is a mandatory challenger, just like Dominic Wade was.
Jacobs has the regular WBA belt. All that means is he is 1st in line for an ass kicking.
Jacobs was handed a WBO title shot and got KO'd by a guy GGG was going to make his US n HBO debut against...as a replacement.
Jacobs next big fight(5 years later lol) was against "NYC" fighter Quillin(who ducked GGG at least twice).
Jacobs-Quillin didn't sell out in NYC and did worse tv #s than GGG vs Brook daytime broadcast. Jacobs followed that up by taking 9 months off and then rematching Mora in Reading, PA(His only fight in 2016)
GGG does better #'s than Jacobs in NYC or anywhere else in the world.
              Let's hear it.

Daniel Jacobs has already been in the gym for at least three weeks now, so not sure what folks are talking about; if Jacobs' trainer feels that Jacobs needs a hard 10-week camp (assuming the Oct 22 bid date holds, that'd push Rozier's "ready" date back to basically New Years weekend in January), DiBella/Haymon are more than in position to approach the bids with the aim of delivering that for their fighter.

If Abel Sanchez feels that Golovkin is more than ready to take on the #2 middleweight in the sport with a 6-week hard camp, more power to him.

Like I've said for a while, the coming purse bid will do away with a lot of the smoke/mirrors in this situation; let's see who steps up.

                  (1) Team GGG didn't offer 25%, that amount was set by the WBA, they're not low-balling Jacobs. You do realize that DJ didn't have to wait until the WBA ordered the fight to challenge GGG. (2) In case you can't count, Khan was also TWO weight classes lower than Canelo !! (3) Ward called out GGG, but Andre hadn't fought at 168 in years himself. AW can barely make 175 (recently said it wasn't easy). ALL of your points are invalid. And I'm a Ward fan !!

25% is Insane! Both Jacobs and Golovkin are professionals so the extras take time is more than likely related to contract disputes!!

25% isn't a problem for other WBA mandatories, just for entitled PBC hedge fund baby Danny Jacobs.
They talked their **** after the Brook fight and when it's time to back it up, he's just not ready lol
