Her husband was a failed President. Mr. "Read my lips" no new taxes put us in the Middle East to defend lowly Kuwait, or at least that was the B.S. he sold to the U.S. Congress and public. Her son was an even bigger idiot and a bigger failure as a President, ran our economy into the ground and got us into a long, unnecessary war in Iraq. But she is offended by Trump.

Yes, there was a downturn, but it wasn't the President's fault.

What cooked his goose was his "Read my lips, no new taxes" pledge and then he went and raised taxes.

Bill Clinton effectively pounded Bush on that.

Of course once Clinton took office one of his first acts was to raise taxes. The biggest tax increase in American history at that time, actually.
