Tougher Fights Than DLH at 147 or 154?

Are there any current fighters at welterweight or jr. middleweight that you would consider tougher opponents than DLH?

not really at the minute, spinks and dzindziruk are pretty tough fighters compared with de la hoya at this stage of his career, but neither of them have a big enough reputation to warrant a fight with floyd.

i think dzindziruk is slightly better at this moment, you could argue that oscar has lost 3 of his last 4 fights. Cotto may be slightly more of a threat also.

Cotto,Williams and Mosley in some situations all pose a bigger threat than DLH depending on style match ups.I think it would actually be very interesting to see a guy like Williams take on Mayweather because he has such a big long jab which we saw DLH use effectively on Floyd when he used it,Williams could cause big problems for Floyd....i mean how would Floyd even get in range to hit the guy without taking something......Cottos body attack and sheer aggression are a serious threat to anyone and Mosley should speak for himself....seasoned Vet whom beat DLH once......twice in the books but once in my eyes.
