#1 Heavyweight Holmes (Dempsey, Johnson, Liston, Lewis as runner ups)
#1 Welterweight Gavilan (Griffith, everyone else I had in mind was too small Napoles, Pea, PBF...)
#1 Lightweight Leonard (Gans) Leonard was a close call with Duran.
#1 Middleweight Monzon that's where I have him anyways.
#1 P4P Overall Charles very little doubt on this one
The only easy picks were 160 and p4p. Nice game actually.

Heavy==Holmes was a terrific champion!! Top ten heavy ATG!
Welter==Basillo was one of the very best fighters ever!!! ATG!
Lightweight= Ike Williams, power and speed and a difficult match up for every lightweight ever!!! ATG!
p4p ===to me there can only be one overall and a current one (I guess)
Sugar Ray Robinson sorry but theres no one close. I love Armstrong & Gans & B. Leonard but Sugar to me is the best. Its on film to see! Ray.

perhaps every choice is debatable, but I found some easier than others.
Who do you have close to Monzon? IMO there was only Hagler left, but for me it is close but clear. Other than that nothing of note with Greb being taken away. Fitz maybe? but did he stay enough at 160?
p4p? maybe you were thinking about Leonard and Gans?Last edited by wmute; 03-30-2013, 02:54 AM.

Jimmy Wilde for Greatest of All Time.
132 (98) - 4 (3) - 1
Weighed anything between 95 pounds & 110 pounds (with his clothes on!!!) & was kayoing blokes that weighed up to the featherweight limit.
Incredible timing & power for such a tiny man.
In his childhood days working the mines (yes, childhood spent working in sooty coal mines) he would fight men twice his size. They would dig two holes next to each other & slowly fill one up so both men were the same height. The two fighters were then face to face, throwing punches until one was knocked out. A teenage Wilde was stopping grown men every day.
Can you imagine Floyd doing this? Or actually having a job?
