  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: How Did WBC Order Whyte-Ortiz, Wilder-Breazeale Next?

By Keith Idec - Eddie Hearn couldn't believe what he was reading. As Dillian Whyte's promoter perused a WBC quarterly report issued by email Tuesday night, he noticed that the sanctioning organization ordered a heavyweight championship elimination match between Whyte, who's ranked No. 1 by the WBC, and...

This is exactly what I said yesterday in the “Whyte is scared he had to fight Ortiz” thread, no he wasn’t scared he was upset he was jumped by the WBC after they promised him that the Breazeale/Molina fight wasn’t a final eliminator, which means as long as Whyte continues to fight for a WBC sanctioned fight he would be the number 1 guy for their belt. Then all of a sudden they mandate Breazeale to fight Wilder. So Whyte was mere speaking about the WBC corrupt yesterday, but for some reason that was turned into Whyte is scared he had to fight Ortiz to become mandatory.

People are going to see right through this. Wilder faces a nohoper Breazeale. Whyte fights a guy that was just koed for a title shot at Wilder.

Lets just call this what it is, Wilder fights a tin can then fights the winner of a tin can faceoff which means Wilder never intended to fight AJ at all. Just goes to prove the 50 million dollar offer was fake.

How embarrassing that the head of Mismatchroom cant give his client Dillian Shyte a proper explanation as to why the World Boxing Council has decided to order a eliminator with Luis 'King-Kong' Ortiz.

And they call this guy the best promoter in the game?! pfft dont make me laugh! I know that there are a bunch of salty Brits that are going to come in here crying corruption and condemning the WBC, and I could shut the noise down right now, but wont.

Carry on taking L's you clowns are pathetic!

Hearn is right what We Be Crooks have done makes no sense. They make Brezeale mandatory first when he is ranked lower than Whyte and done less to deserve a shot. They then mandate Whyte who is ranked first to fight fourth ranked Ortiz?? A guy who in his last fight was sparked out by Wilder?

Even the most biased Wilder fan must admit it makes zero logic.

Just like when the WBC made Stiverne mandatory after fighting once in over two years against a complete bum. The WBC are protecting Wilder from Whyte it's corruption, they have definitly received a brown cash filled envelope from team Wilder.

It makes a lot of sense and was already explained last year. Stiverne agreed to risk his mandatory position against Breazeale, just like Povetkin did against David Price on a recent matchroom show.

When Ortiz failed a test, resulting in Stiverne being moved to the main event, it meant Breazeale already had a signed deal for a final eliminator, but no opponent. The WBC allowed him to face the highest available contender so he wouldn't have his opportunity taken away through no fault of his own.

That is how Breazeale ended up in a final eliminator. Whyte could have had the fight if he wanted, but obviously didn't want the fight on such short notice. But that's the reason Whyte got skipped over for that final eliminator. Whyte was then offered the next final eliminator.

It only makes sense in a corrupt world. No-one wants to see breazeale face Wilder; both Ortiz and Whyte would have far bigger interest and risk to Wilder.

We’ll see what happens with the supposed offer to Joshua, but sounds like a deal already signed with breazeale which is the reason for it.
