If Ruiz was the bigger draw the fight would clearly be happening in his exact location that he wants which is Mexico. He has halted the rematch venue being brought about by him being a bitter cry baby, If he is gonna get screwed over it is more likely to be in Saudi than it is in Britain.
Only the Aj stans are crying

No, he does not have a say. He's not going to the UK because Saudi Arabia paid more. If Hearn told fat boy he was fighting in the UK, his ass would be there or be in court. He doesn't HAVE to do anything, but he'll pay for it through the legal system if he doesn't. It's real simple, the rematch clause had everything specified in writing.

All that yapping but NO suing

You guys are so full of shet, the contract doesn't say anything about location.

So what is it guys, do you just hate seeing a Brit be successful? These stupid notions of a fight in Mexico they're ridiculous! Last I checked when you're born in America and primarily were raised there then fighting in Mexico isn't finally you having a home fight.

Before anyone says it, whilst it might have been AJ idea to expand his fanbase across the seas what difference does it make win or loss? He doesn't need the fight to happen there again. The whole reason this stupid corrupt location in Saudi is happening is because of Ruiz acting like a b*tch, if Ruiz is worried about the fairness of Britain well... Saudi isn't a country that is best known for following the rules.

I for one ain't no big AJ nuthugger, you'll find plenty of messages from me questioning him. Simple put what Ruiz has done is a total ***** move, we trade a 80-90k stadium for a small 8k stadium with blood thirsty Sheikhs.

And most contracts dont have a location or all the details set for the rematch. So AJ can either negotiate with Ruiz on his desires and they can come to an agreement or he can fuk off and fight more cab drivers.

This is the thing that gets me for those who criticise AJ. There are lots of things to criticise him for, but ducking opponents is not one.

Ruiz can't decide the venue, he has no power.

Herein lies Ruiz leverage. Hearn doesn't want court. Court is lengthy and expensive. Court could take years with preliminary motions, discovery, depositions, etc. You don't just get a court date in a week. This court case could tie up AJ for damn near the rest of his career.

Just look at the Canelo case. He just up and jumped his contract to sign with Oscar. It took All Star like 6 years to get an $8.5M judgement, only to have that nullified on appeal.
