I think he has boxers to fight, they just not in the Fury or Wilder sort of level. IMHO he done too much too early in his short career, he should have done what Warren does with british fighters or what Wilder did with his career, knock 30 odd bums out. Before going after his first title.

Ortiz is almost old enough to meet the eddie / AJ criteria. A few more years and they will be keen as, especially if ortiz becomes inactive.

Well i disagree on that. I get what you are saying but to me that just sounds like Hearn had an oppertunity to overpay Wilder and Fury and didnt do it and thats why the fights didnt get made. Im not convinced Wilder would of took 50-50 anyway hed prob just come back and demand 60-40. But thats just opinion. As for |Ortiz, hes not in the mix here, Fury and Wilder yes but what exactly is Ortiz bringing to any table? He is a risk for no reward. And he waited 5 weeks to respond to Joshua calling him out and even admitting he didnt respnd when he could of.

But you call Eddie Hearn a **** promoter based on that? You do know he has alot of other fighters in his stable and most of them are very happy with the job he is doing for them but you can call him a **** promoter cuz he couldnt make the Wilder or Fury fight for AJ even though he offered both of them seriously good contracts and the chance to negotiate for something different or better.

Eddie won't let AJ fight ortiz.

They will not even mentioned his name. Despite being desperate for opponent, they would rather fight no one and look stupid than mention ortiz.

Doesn’t matter who he fights, even if he fights Ortiz next what credit does he deserve? I don’t care what anyone says Ortiz is old! He obviously is lying about his age. The only reason I would want him to fight Ortiz would be because of the payday for Ortiz who has a daughter that is ill. Apart from that I don’t see any difference with Ortiz/Pulev/Whyte/Miller..

Ortiz is just a poor mans Povetkin. Joshua has already beaten better fighters than Ortiz. Ortiz is only getting lofted here cuz he gave Wilder a bit of a kicking and these idiots rate Wilder so highly so if somebody can give Wilder a bit of a kicking he must be an absolute beast. They try to tell us Ortiz was always a better fighter than Wlad or Povetkin ever was.

Is this a form of encouraging mediocrity?

Well he can always take on a another mandatory challenger. That's always been his M.O. when he wants to avoid high risk fights like for instance a Deontay Wilder undisputed heavyweight championship fight.
