Let me explain it to you, and also to Wilder's fans too. After the Miller fight, AJ will fight in these things called "mandatories". I'm sure that you Wilder fans have never heard of them because your guy Wilder avoids them, just like he avoids unification fights, but I digress. When you have 4 belts like AJ does, and you want to keep these belts, you fight the #1 challenger who is usually your mandatory. You don't get to avoid him like Wilder has, and keep fighting bums or old men or guys like Fury who just came back from a 3 year lay off. Wilder has had the WBC belt for 4 years and had 1 mandatory fight, against Stiverne who hadn't fought in 2 years before that. He has skipped Whtye and Breazeale for the last 2 years and the WBC has let him get away with it. Instead of talking ***** about the Miller fight, you idiots should have something to say about Wilder doing an Adonis Stevenson...and we all saw what happened to him when he finally fought some one good...

AJ can fight a few scrubs and still pull down a minmum of $15M per fight.

In what way does a Whyte fight take priority over a Joshua fight?

It's like these Wilder fanboys don't want the Joshua-Wilder fight to happen, and are happy the longer it gets delayed.

          Such beta male behaviour.

Who says he won't fight Ortiz? He has already fought and defeated better fighters than Ortiz. AJ is a popular champion. He can make good money fighting the highest ranked guy willing to fight him whoever that may be.

Like how when it was looking like AJ-Whyte that was a "garbage fight" and "trash"

now it's "whyte deserves his wbc shot" just to delay fighting AJ

these guys are clowns plain and simple

I don't think we will see that fight for a few reasons

                Ortiz brings no $$$

it'd be a dull buildup as AJ is kind of boring and Ortiz cant speak english

Ortiz isn't a mandatory to get out of the way

Ortiz is old and a win vs him easy to dismiss

There just isn't much in it for AJ, If Ortiz was 10 years younger and had some impressive wins since wilder then yeah, but as it is... i dont see it

Wilder and fury fighting each other, the winner will then go on to fight Whyte so that’s them all tied up.

They clearly don’t want anything to do with Ortiz, so that’s him ruled out.

Usyk has already said many times that he’s not going to fight AJ just yet, he will fight him in HIS own time and he won’t be ready for AJ until 2020.

So who can he fight? Cause he can’t fight another one like Miller again, the fans would completely turn on him, he has to fight someone big next.

You really must lie awake at night thinking about Anthony Joshua... The kicker is the reality of the situation is that if Whyte, Joshua and Wilder all win the person with nowhere to go isn't Joshua; it's Wilder.

Wilder's mandatory is long overdue so the only way he isn't facing his mandatory next is if it's a unification so Wilder's options would be an Eddie Hearn represented Dillian Whyte or an Eddie Hearn represented Anthony Joshua... that is not a good position to be in. You can bet your bottom dollar too that of those two options Wilder would be wanting the payday of Joshua rather than risk losing that in a fight with Whyte for far less money. Unless of course the WBC sanction Wilder v Fury III, but that only delays Wilder having to face one of Whyte or Joshua for another 6 months rather than stops it (provided on the win).

Joshua in the mean time can just face one of his mandatories and Hearn will spin it as a fight they had to make as Wilder wouldn't bite. The WBA may call Whyte as Joshua's mandatory but if so Hearn would be in his ear trying to get Whyte to hold out for Wilder and dangling a Wembley super fight for all the marbles vs Joshua in front of Whyte's face.

I like AJ, enjoy his fights, but Hearn is a sh|t promotor.

People keep saying Joshua has nowhere to go, hes in a corner, hes in a closet, hes down a dead end or hes in the shadow. Joshua holds all but one of the belts, Joshua is also the money man, nobody is earning what Joshua earns and nobody will earn as much as they can against Joshua. ALL ROADS LEAD TO JOSHUA.

The winner of Fury v Wilder may try to skip around Joshua again but anybody who has any interest in that fight knows there will be only 1 man they expect the winner of that fight to face next. Fury, Wilder, Whyte may not want it but theres plenty of others that do and Joshua will no have nowhere to go and he wont have nobody to fight. Have you any idea how many times Joshua's name will be mentioned throughout the Fury Wilder card? Likely to be more than Fury or Wilder.
