Where are the Hearns, J.Jackson, G-Man, Foster and Tyson's of boxing?

Before you tell me they are playing Basketball, Football... please punch yourself in the head. None of those guys would've done anyhing other than boxing due to their size.

Why is it that boxers today don't fight like they did in the past? Especially Afro-American boxers. they are still around but no longer dominating and where are the insane blaxplosive punchers? the only notable black boxers are Ward, Dawson, Hopkins, Mayweather and Haye. huggers and runners.

is it due to drug testing?

There was no real drug testing procedure back in the 70's and 80's. Athletic commission didn't install strict testing protocols until the 90's.

Only recently has amatuer boxing got funding in the UK. But the sport itself is bad! A lot of gyms have closed down here.
