If 'Get Out' Wins Best Picture..

We may have a whole new controversy on our hands. 'Get Out' is now poised to (possibly) win the Academy Award for BP though it could easily lose to Three Billboards, Shape of Water or Dunkirk or ect..

I've been bumping into more and more people recently who believe 'Get Out' is divisive if not condescending if not outwardly racist.

Does it deserve to win Best Picture and if so will there be any blowback?

I found it to be very predictable. Not a horrible movie but it certainly pandered to a certain audience. Then again, most movies favored by the Oscars and Golden Globes are agenda driven Hollywood garbage, so Get Out would fit right in.

i thought the shape of water was excellent, ive been meaning to see three billboards... dunkirk was pretty good but not worthy of best picture.
