Kathy Duva has gone to far, requiring HBO to cover up her constant lies, it's enough.

Anyhow, after the 1st Kovalev vs Pascal fight, Kathy Duva says to the medias, Kovalev couldn't take any part of the WBC purse bid against Stevenson, even if Kovalev was no longer tied of any TV contract after the Pascal fight. Duva claimed HBO still had matching rights on Kovalev next fights.
Why would she lie like that?

Again, when Kovalev had setup his fight in Russia against Chilemba, under his secondary HBO contract. Duva said. "HBO Sports is exploring carrying the event in the U.S. It's too early to be definitive. We know they love Sergey."
Then, the medias questionned her about the HBO Exclusive contract. And Duva said. "Exclusivity doesn't extend to Monday afternoon fights overseas".
Why would she lie like that?

How HBO feel about how their name got use as a shield to avoid a fight against Stevenson. Like the matching rights story she made up, or the term Exclusive she & Kovalev over-used, everytime they say the word contract. Kovalev never had the type of contract GGG has, the second deal was not even exclusive; Purse bids were never an issue...
Ken Hershman or Peter Nelson never agree or disagree with Kathy Duva public lies, they let her do what she does best; "Lying."

But after the Kovalev-Ward fight, you can feel HBO no longer had the patience to endure the lies she does for her protegee Kovalev; Kathy Duva can talk ish about the referee all week long, but at least she know's Peter Nelson doesn't play that way...

Anyhow, I like what HBO did with the flags at the end of the fight, displaying the US flag next to the Canadian flag, like they knew what would happen next. Stevenson already called out the winner before the fight begin, I guess Ward is not Kovalev and will walk forward.

Wasn't this fight the last one of Ward's contract with HBO? If so, HBO is screwed because Ward can walk across the street to SHO with all the belts and sign an exclusive deal with them and force Duva's hand on the whole Kovelev being exclusive to HBO talk.
Duva has screwed herself IMO, however people will make excuses for her and her lies (in this forum). She has done a disservice to her client IMO. It's going to be interesting how all of this plays out. I hope her BS does not delay or prevent a rematch between Ward and Kovalev. At best, maybe we'll get a Super 3 tourney out of this with Ward, Kovalev, and Stevenson.

It's pretty hilarious how that worked out. Personally, I'd love Ward to unify with Stevenson (because Duva will never even try to have Kovalev do it) then have Ward vs Kovalev II for ALL the marbles in the rematch of the decade.

Probably won't happen because Ward has already said that he doesn't think Adonis is truly interested. And, if it did, fans would absolutely scream that Ward is ducking by fighting Adonis first.
