  • Eubank Sr is ruining his son

Man, I'm a fan of Sr the fighter, one of the best I've seen in my life time and a genuine, balls to the wall warrior but as a manager and trainer, he is ruining his sons career. Jr needs to cut him loose or tell him to stfu and sit quietly and watch his fights.

Since the start of 2016 they have turned down a great offer to fight Saunders for the title. Given up their mandatory position to fight Jacobs and now messed up a fight with Golovkin.

Considering he's only a British champ who has fought 1 world level fighter (and lost),they need to have some sense of reality. What other fighter on that level has had such great opportunities presented to them?

Also, in doing what they have, they have burned a lot of bridges. Hearn probably won't deal with them again once the contract is up. Warren said he won't deal with them again. So he isn't going to be on Sky or BoxNation.

He'll end up fighting on Channel 5 again, or have to try to go to USA because nobody in UK will touch him anymore. And nobody really cares there that his daddy is Chris Eubank because he's not known outside of the boxing world there.

Shame really, he's an exciting fighter but his team have done some very bizarre things.

Yeah, pretty much this. It's sad because Eubank is a talented guy with natural speed and power but his coaching and his management has stagnated his career.

He'll be on some Hearn cards merely for his contract to be up and then he'll be back fighting in shopping centers fighting on channel 5...or ITV 4.
