He came in light for Ortiz and blamed flu.

He came in light for Fury and blamed a broken arm

He’ll come in under 200 for the rematch and finally admit that he’s trying to slim down for the Destiny’s Child reunion

That's your business Wilder. Nothing will stop Fury from dominating you everyday in the ring and out of the ring. Fury does not care about your weight.

        Well said.

Wilder is a typical piece of shít. I hope Fury doesn't give him the time of day. If you lose, be gracious in defeat. He's at the end of his career and has millions already so it's not entirely about the money right.

Be honest, give the man his props for fůcks sake.

          Adding huge amount of weight

This raises an important issue ~ PEDs

It is particularly clear for heavyweights because they don't have to cut.

Wider can easily add 30 or more pounds of fat or water in this time of

          BUT

It is absolutely physically impossible for him to add than say 7 pounds of lean muscle without PEDs.

Some individuals add muscle more easily than others but even those people can't put on much in that timeframe and Wider clearly doesn't put on muscle easily.

If he comes in with even 19-15 pounds of lean muscle he's been using.

Personally I think this is all BS and there is nothing wrong with him fighting at his regular weight. He's effective there, why change it?

Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz are ready to go for tomorrow night’s WBC heavyweight title fight on Showtime, live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, but there were some surprises on the scale today.

Notably, Wilder (39-0, 38 KO) weighed in at just 214ľ pounds, his lowest number on the scales since his third professional fight in 2009.

He’s actually appeared headed in this direction for a while now, though. After bulking up earlier in his pro career, he’s been headed back down after a career-high weight of 229 for his 2015 defense against Eric Molina. He weighed 228ľ for his next two bouts, then 226Ľ, 222, and 220ľ last time out against Bermane Stiverne.
Kind of weird though how he got bigger and bigger from his debut until he enrolled in Vada and then he has continually shrunk ever since.

I find that very interesting too! However, his power has not waned at all! He's just as strong at 212, as he was at 230, and he's fighting better competition now!

He hits hard enough as it is. Weight would slow him down and make him even more clumsy. What he needs to do is work on hes skills. Maybe move hes head now and again.

                  Re

Big Baby was able to lure Wilder into a hilarious shouting match, on a call-on radio show . But if Big Baby is actually able to lure Wilder into the RING, this is where a low 200's weight can hurt him.

He's knocking out these 260-ish guys, but a 300+ skilled opponent is another thing entirely. That's a lot of weight to give up. You have to have some weight behind that punch, to keep a Big Baby off of you.

Weight was not why he lost the fight...he lost it because he may be the worst WBC belt holder in history.

Anyway, how can he go from 212 to 245 in a healthy way within a reasonable time frame?

Larry Holmes & Michael Spinks were also the "superior boxers" against Mike Tyson.. Wilder by KO in the rematch.. and if the rematch is next for Wilder & Fury, i don't think Fury can't be motivated again and give 100% in training, seems like he need a long rest to put it again

About Wilder, a stage with a great counter puncher will be good no? and what about putting muscles on the legs? like Tommy Hearns & .. Mark Breland before that's scary to see how skinny legs Wilder has, seems like one punch on their chins can break their legs
