Purchasing a holiday home

I considered pursuing this. Should be in a rural/semirural area and affordable even without taking out a large loan. I have no outstanding debts and want to keep it this way. Anybody have or dreaming of buying a second home? Optimal would be a seaside resort but this is beyond my current financial capacity.

I think it's a great idea. Since I am blessed to work remotely, I am considering doing the same but not as a holiday home, as as permanent one.
