Angie Gomez, a Texas teenager created a story about her battle with Leukemia and collected about $17,000 in donations. The 19-year-old girl shared her story with friends and school authorities, saying that her disease left her with only 6 months to live. The money she made might be going towards the $50,000 bond she is being held on for theft by deception, according to reports.
