  • Chad Dawson taking shots at John Scully

"I was too far ahead in the game for him (John
Scully) to even try to come in and teach me
anything. I was too far ahead of the game. I worked
with top level trainers already. For Scully it just
wasn't a good situation for him, me already being
where I'm at, at the top of the game and having
already fought some of the greatest fighters in the
world. Coming back to Eddie gonna make me who I
    really am."

I guess this means that John won't be selling Chad's jockstraps on his site anymore.

WTF... not sure if this is really taking shots at Scully or not but not cool. Nobody can teach you killer instincts Chad. Unless you go back to Floyd Sr maybe...

I like Scully, he keeps it 100% in the corner.

That's some pathetic ****. I'm leaning towards entering Dawson into a select group of fighters called the FBA. (future bums of america)

Jermaine Taylor 2.0. Taylor changed trainers like 50 times too

I've given up on the guy.

I was a huge fan of his. Hell, I even wanted him to beat Ward, a fighter I love.

But I don't care to see him fight anymore. That performance, quitting like he did, and not fighting with any degree of fire since the first Johnson fight.....I'm done....to use a phrase the man said himself (to Smoger).

I'm not gonna invest my support in a fighter who goes through the motions and wastes his talent like that. Contrast him with someone like Ward - a winner who is constantly improving at his craft, who has the competitive spirt of someone who wants to be the best.

Blaming Scully is laughable. He's been fighting passively and without focus for a long, long time.
