Just like he did versus Dillian Whyte. He knocked Wlad down and was going in for the kill and got caught with some big shots in that same round. He was cruising and looking sharp when he was patient, catching Wlad with some counters. He put all caution aside and got rocked trying to finish. Then the next round he got hit with one of the hardest flush right hands I have ever seen. It's a miracle he survived that ****.

He needs to be more cautious in the ring or he'll get put to sleep sooner rather than later.

One thing is for sure, once he's hurt, he stays hurt for a while. If a fighter with killer instinct has him hurt, he could be stopped.

He recovered well from Dillian's Whyte punch in the same round. Wlad had him out on his feet though

        Absolutely.

He was going for the kill, got sloppy and walked onto a huge shot. He did very well to recover, even if it took a few rounds.

Yup. People are citing stamina as an issue because they see how he didn't really have his legs from the end of round 5 until round 9.

He's very top heavy, very stiff, he tried to box with Wlad, and got taught a lesson

He looked good when he put it on Wlad, thats how you beat Wlad you put it on him and he backs off

Jousha isnt very skilled, decent boxer, he'll never be the technician, he's all power and youth.

Soon as that youth goes, he'll be finished.

He needs to lose some of that top heavy bulk, he's not very fluid, his foot work is pretty shart.

Truthfully he beat a inactive granpa, its not that Wlad was great tonight, its just Jousha made him look great tonight

No he didn't. Watch Joshua walk back to the corner after that 2nd round against Whyte, he couldn't even walk in a straight line and barely knew which way to go, he was heading towards the middle of the ropes.

It definitely took him time to recover against Whyte too. Even Froch said his worry about Joshua is his recovery and that he stiffened up for a couple of rounds after Whyte hurt him. He might not have been on queer street for a few rounds, but he wasn't throwing like he usually does and was stiff.

He was gassed. He started to fade a round before. I think he started too fast. He recovered well and didn't lose his composure. He's also has a lot heart.

The same time he knocked Klitschko down he got caught and he punched himself out.

Yep it was a left hook, just watched the fight back on youtube. It rocked his boots, and I agree that his powers of recovery are not fast. But in a funny way, I also think his stamina needs to improve, a lot of recovery is down to stamina as well as natural punch resistance. He does have some areas to go back to the gym and work on for sure, but his heart! The man has a giant ticker. I have seen two examples of great heart and will recently, first was Ward against Kovalev, and tonight. Most fighters (99%) would pack it in with their backs against the wall like that.

What Joshua showed tonight is that his mental game, his toughness, and his will to win is elite. Those are BIG intangible boxes he has ticked.
