  • Great short fighters....?

    List some of your favorite/the best fighters that were short or short for their weight class...

    I think Langford and armstrong are the best short fighters. I also thinka bout guys like qawi and tyson too...

      Dwight Muhammad Qawi and Tyson are my picks.

      another guy that doesnt get mentioned often is Robert Villemain, who was 5'5 and deserved to have two wins over Jake LaMotta. a lot of people consider LaMotta a top 5 MW, so thats pretty good if you ask me.

      I wouldnt consider him 'great' per say, but 5'3 140lb Frankie Warren was pretty good and had wins over Buddy McGirt and Mickey Ward.

        hagler is listed at 5'9" but i know guy who met him and said no way...

        he looked like he was maybe an inch, at the most, taller than duran(5'71/2").

                  Come in to see Goblin has used the same on I was going to use but I'll say it anyway.

                  Dick Tiger was pretty short for a Light Heavyweight Champion at 5'8.
