  • Anthony Joshua Plans To Make His Own Boxing Game For Games Consoles

    https://youtu.be/XZzUdf-6_ks

Anthony Joshua is massive gamer and he's currently sponsored by the game first person shooter game Destiny 2, however, he plans to work on his own boxing game once he unifies the heavyweight division.

Mike Tyson's Punch Out was the last boxing game released by a boxer and it was a massive success but no new boxing game had not been released for quite some time. EA has stopped developing Fight Night but with AJ's quickly becoming a huge global sports star and boxing gaining more popularity, hopefully game developers start making boxing games again.

Heres some info on it ...dont know how missed all this !

Mike Tyson Boxing (known as Prince Naseem Boxing in the United Kingdom) is a boxing video game released in 2000 by Codemasters for the PlayStation, and later for the Game Boy Color in 2001 and Game Boy Advance in 2002 by Virtucraft. It features boxer Mike Tyson in the International releases, and Naseem Hamed in the original UK release.

The game suffered a quite lengthy yet somehow troubled development history, as it took several years to develop, which is very evident to the original UK version , in where the game was originally going to be released Europe-Wide as Prince Naseem Boxing, until Codemasters decided to change the title for the International releases that would feature Mike Tyson instead of Naseem Hamed, who was kept for the UK release.

It was then finally released in late 2000 to mixed to negative reviews. Despite its mixed reception, the game did receive a sequel released on the PS2 and Xbox entitled Mike Tyson Heavyweight Boxing.

            Why it Sucks

            Boring, monotonous gameplay.
            Mediocre visuals.
            Unresponsive controls.
            Poor sound effects.
            Long loading times.
            Dull music.
Horrible voice acting for a game released in 2000.

              Some titles for an AJ themed game;

              Queers of War
              Galo (Gay-low)
Duck Hunt (hunting boxers who duck him, like Wilder)

If he was smart he partners with Nintendo for a Joshuas Superior Punch out rendition including every punch out character from the original arcade to current. Theres no other game that would generate his name more than that game series .

There was also George Foreman's KO Boxing. I have it for NES but it may have been on super nintendo as well. Riddick Bowe had a game too I'm pretty sure.
