Martin is one of the funniest sitcoms EVER.

George Jefferson was RAW!

and a precursor to Martin and paved the way for what you could get away with on TV. Same with Archie Bunker. I'm showing my age but I'm going with George.

Plus, George has been shot. Martin never got shot on his show.
