From what I have seen you have a point. The absolute worst are the Evangelical Christians. Not all of them but a goodly number are narrow minded, bigoted people. Strangely when they are quoting the Bible its not the New Testament that is generally preaching tolerance but usually the most bigoted intolerant passages from the Old Testament.
