Don't know much about it BUT, I saw a japanese anime series called berserk. WOW it was really good!

Apparently the anime isn't anywhere as good as the manga it is based on. Actually seriously considering trying to find a copy to read.

I've only ever read a few graphic novels : 'Watchmen', 'The Killing Joke' and 'Black hole'. They were all pretty good reads though.
