Prometheus was a great movie--->>

Viral campaign was awesome, but the movie did not live up to it.

They tried to do way too much in a 2 hour movie making it kind of sloppy and not very good.

The best theory I heard about this film was that it was intended as a direct prequel to Alien. You have the spaceship crash, the Space Jockey in his chair, the distress signal... then they had a change of heart and decided to make it different but never bothered cleaning up the script.

Prometheus is a great movie for about 2/3rds of the way through...at which point it absolutely goes off a ****ing cliff rendering the entire movie mediocre at best.

The Peter Weyland part was pretty pointless and just thrown in.... not to mention the incredibly cheesy part where Charlize Theron said it was her father. And while we are on it that revelation meant absolutely nothing because **** got ridiculous right after that came up.

Why did that one guy come back to the ship reanimated and super strong?

Why did all of those engineers die in the ship?

The part where the two guys got lost was just thrown in there. The whole movie people came and went from the ship to the spot with no problem then these guys get lost. Not to mention the fact that the ship had a map laid out with their location of where they were but the guys never felt the need to ask for help until hour later? Just stupid...

There is more just cant think of now but the movie had many holes and tried to do way too much in a 2 hour movie.

David infected Holloway for what reason?

I think David wanted to test the black goo. His master wanted to find answers to eternal life remember??

Also keep in mind David kinda asked Holloway for permisson before he did it at the pool table. He said something like "Would you do ANYTHING to get the answers we came for" And holloway said yes. At this point i think the Android David saw this as a logical thing to do being that he has no feelings.
