Toyota Center in Houston, TX - Sukrab Shidaev (4-0, 2 KOs) from Hollywood, CA over Jose Trevino (1-7-1, 1 KO) from Brownsville, TX by TKO at 1:39 of the 3rd round.
Shidaev attacks with hooks to the body and uppercuts out of a tight guard. Trevino down by a flash knockdown from a glancing left hook in middle of 1st round. Shidaev busy flurries have tired himself out and finishes the round slow. Pace slows in 2nd with Trevino able to absorb a lot of punishment, with Shidaev swinging arm punches and Trevino landing an occasional counterpunch. In 3rd, Shidaev throws a left-right-left to Trevino’s body which floors him and he doesn’t recover.
