You have this reversed, the small guys tend to wither as time and bouts move on.

Rigo is old when it comes to stepping up 10lbs, 37 yr old legs and most important not "willing" to go all out.
He injured his hand put in a titled fight you fight on unless the arm injury doesn't allow you to lift your arm.

if you watch the first round Rigo is taking center ring and maintaining that position pretty well. Once he let Loma take the center he was done. His counter move counter punch is a tough way to go against speed.

He was NOT willing to push the younger, stronger man backwards. That was the fight he wasn't "willing"!
