End of steroids era in baseball.

Do you think that the Steroid Era of baseball has ended? There aren't nearly as many home runs as there were 1989-2007, and the sport is now more defense-oriented.

No.....there will be players who still try to scam the system, but it's stupid to do so as they are getting tested a lot. There are always a couple guys who try...usually in the minors.

Sammy Sosa and Mark Mcguire's 1998 home run record chase was the greatest thing to happen for baseball. Ratings were through the roof at levels not seen in years. That event pretty much single handedly saved baseball.

Both of them were obviously on steroids, but it made for great entertainment.
