Actually Big George was a big fan of Lennox ever since Lennox's amateur days.

I recall many times big George would praise Lennox on different telecasts where Lennox was not even fighting.

Hell I remember one time specifically when Michael Moore was fighting some 6'10 heavyweight on HBO and Jim said that the 6'10 guy was wearing tennis shoes because he could not find boxing shoes in a size 15 and big George said that Lennox had some and he wears a size 15 and a half.

If he remembered what shoe size Lennox had to me that is a strong indication of big George being a big fan.

I had heard that when Lennox fought Vitali. Foreman was going to challenge for the title if Klitschko won. He absolutely never wanted anything to do with Lewis.

I don't know if that's true but it would make sense considering Foreman's behavior during that fight. He was blatantly rooting for Vitali and criticised Lewis frequently in that fight.
