    Hasn't fought at 168 since 2013. Hasn't fought at 175.
Only fought 1 time this year vs a SMW above the SMW limit.
If Ward could make 168, he would've fought Smith at 168.
    He didn't because he can't

    Keep crying
Ward wouldn't even fight Stevenson at either weight lol.
Stevenson KO'd Dawson and called Ward out on HBO.
Ward just stood there staring into the camera like a dumb c0ckeyed ****.

Do you really think that there is one single person here who doesn't know what actually happened? Wait, in fact there are many -- they will explain you how the 'Russian killer' ducked the purse bid... Exactly how Michel is trying to explain right now.

You hold the title and don't beat a top 5 ranked opponent in 2 years, it's over no matter what the circumstances are IMO.

The GoldenBoy Promotions are trying to increase the value of the Ring belts.

Yeah right! The one way is the "Purse bid"

RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE WORLD BOXING COUNCIL (“WBC”)
2.8 Free Negotiations Period. After the WBC orders a bout, there shall be a period of thirty (30) days for the parties to negotiate, finalize, execute, and file a contract for the bout. Should the parties fail to file a fully-executed contract with the WBC by the end of such period, the period of free negotiations shall automatically terminate. The WBC may, by notification to the parties, shorten or lengthen the free negotiation period in special circumstances as determined by the WBC in its sole discretion.

For the 3rd time, the WBC mandate Kovalev vs Stevenson in early november 2015. And we are reaching the 30 days delay before the purse bid, at the beginning of December 2015.
          Kathy Duva lies wont work:

The only solution is the purse bid.

Ring has dropped the ball so many times bro. Starting with making Jones lhw champ. Also having kept Ward as champion without him having anybody since the s6. Their ratings also suck. I go with transnational boxing and boxingscene. Ring Magazine? Not so much.

Another reason why belts are irrelevant and this isnt even a real belt, its a magazines belt so who cares

Now that The Ring is owned by an HBO promoter, they are just as corrupt as any sanctioning body.
I'm not sure the date but Rigo is next he will be stripped any day now. If his 2 years without a top 5 hasn't hit yet it will be very soon. I believe Agbeko was top 5 ranked. So that fight was late 2013 in Dec. So keep watching those rankings he is next to fall.

Rigo was given a warning, but he's got more leeway cause nobody top 5 wants to fight him. Adonis otoh passed up opportunities to fight Kov, Hop, Pascal x2.

He could fight Kov on HBO anytime, unlike Kov he's got no exclusive network contract

HBO and their promoters have successfully spread misinformation and propaganda, but the truth is easily verifiable.
That's a lie. Hopkins was fighting on Showtime at the time NOT HBO and wanted to fight Stevenson and Haymon dragged out negotiations to try and force him to get vacated. Hopkins had enough of it and went to Kovalev camp and they wrapped up the fight in days. That was his backup plan he plan A was Stevenson but Haymon wouldn't make the deal. At the time Stevenson said he was passing on Kovelev to fight the more known Hopkins. That was his excuse backing out. Instead he ducked Kovalev and they played games with Hopkins and lost out on both fights. No one to blame but bad management/adviser. He shot himself in the foot.

Laughing at fools trying to make this about Ring Magazine when Stevenson has been the biggest joke in boxing and fighting terrible competition ever since he backed out the Kovalev deal and signed with Haymon. His best wins were PRIOR to Haymon. Ring didn't just make up this rule so I got no problem with them enforcing it against the biggest duck in boxing.
