One of my best friends is from Hong Kong and she said sometimes she likes the "fake" Chinese food in America.

We go to some real chinese places and it's night and day to what they serve at the Americanized places. LOL

Beef and garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, orange chicken, usually beef fried rice, but also bbq pork fried rice, and shrimp fried rice. Keep it basic.

When I'm trying to watch what I eat, I get whatever steamed. Steamed shrimp or chicken with steamed vegetables and white rice.

When I don't give a fu*k, orange chicken. Kung pao chicken. General Tso. Chop suey.

Then there's my all time favorite, Wu Tang Chicken.

                    Chinese adapt to their customers

If that sour or vinegary dish ain't selling, time to change it.

I was watching this Netflix movie on general tso chicken.

What they sell as general tso in america is so different from the og from taiwan
