Boxing continues to embarrass itself. It's becoming less and less relevant by the day because of the shameless ducking taking place.

      Just the facts.

Brand stepped up when others turned it down or overpriced themselves...one didn't want to be drug tested.

SMH. Turned down VADA testing. Another drug cheat flying under the radar. At least the Povetkin fans will support him.

Look at all the legendary fighters of yesteryear,

when they moved up a division after already establishing their star power and greatness,

they fought the sharks right away. Duran, Pacquiao, Camacho, Arguello, Armstrong they didnt do this multiple tune ups vs scrub competition the way ward is doing.

          Son of God????

More like Son of a B*tch.
I can't disagree with any of that.

Why is GGG trying to fight smaller Canelo???

Has he ever fought a bigger guy?

            Nope.

Gigi has quit a few smaller guys on his sad resume.

boxing is a business, or have ya'll forgot?!

The key fight is vs Kovalev in the fall.

I swear, some of you expect fighters to face killers EVERY SINGLE TIME OUT.

There's nothing wrong with this fight...Ward needs another tune-up any way based off his performance vs Sully.

You do realize that Canelo is naturally heavier than Golovkin?

You know your fighter's shit is raggedy when you have to spend 15+ minutes explaining why it's not. Of course his would-be opponents want to get paid; they know they'd have to go to Ward's home town to fight him. Also, he's supposed to be a P4P best, so why fight him for peanuts?

this is not the norm when you look at past greats who moved up after already establishing their greatness.

and why do people keep downplaying his fight vs barerra?

it was not bad at all. typical ward fight. he still showed great defense and still read barerras punches very well.

A smaller guy? Are you serious? Canelo outweighs Golovkin on fightnight and has been a middleweight for almost 3 yrs. Enough of the he's to small to fight 160 lb fighters, well then he needs to stay the f*&*k out of the MW division
