  • Tyson Fury vs Denis Boystov

Peter Fury confirmed on twitter that Boystov will be next opponent.

Will be a great test for Tyson as Boystov is a hard hitter and unbeaten in 31 fights.

I hope this fight happens it will be good to see where both these guys are at and will humilliate David Price into fighting someone a bit better than fraudley or 50 year old matt skeleton

So if it's on, the winner will be Wladimir's WBO mandatory.
That is true, but Boytsov is no1 contender anyway. Fury is 7th. Fury if he wins is not ready for Wlad for at least a year or 2.

There is a 9 inch height difference between the 2. That seems too much for Boystov to overcome. I know Chisora hurt Fury when they fought, but Fury, limited though he is, has improved in the meantime. It will still be an interesting fight, but Perez-Chagaev interests me more.

I think David Price wants to fight Wladimir next. This would explain why he is fighting so soon after his last fight. Wladimir is fighting on the 10th of this month. Price is fighting on the 30th. Their schedueles will be in sync. I think Price's team purposely did it this way. There may even have been negotiations between the 2 camps. Wladimir is fighting Wach, a big guy (6'7"), which may be a prepatory fight for Price.

This is all speculation, but a lot of things add up.
